Vicks: Innovative Media

The challenge was to breathe new life into a static product range - Vicks Vapor Rub. Metrics indicate children aren't big on topical treatments, and moms don't like forcing the use of uncomfortable remedies. These core insights allowed the creation of Vick – a vaporizer that gently releases fresh eucalyptus scents to clear up congestion.

A prototype and playful demo was crafted to pitch this concept to Procter & Gamble executives. Vick along with special Vaporub cartridges will allow Vicks to generate additional demand for their core product offering while making illness a bit more pleasurable.
