Adobe - Free Flash: Viral Campaign + Website

Some of the greatest creative expressions online today are produced in flash, but unfortunately Apple’s iPad/iPhone deny this softwares fun factor.

Free Flash is a viral campaign that allows users to express their favoritism for Flash through a mysterious page takeover. To inspire a spot of anarchy viewers are encouraged to: join the Flash Mob, vote for flash in apple devices, download QR infused DIY street posters, and even download an app that bypasses the restriction of flash on Apple devices.

I thought it would be interesting to express the restriction of Flash fun using Prohibition as a metaphor. The juxtaposition between high tech devices and flappers from the 1920’s helped make this project memorable.
